Education Support Staff
An
administrator may meet with an employee at any time to investigate an
incident. The employee may have a Union representative present at any
investigatory interview or any meeting where discipline or adverse evaluation
may result. No employee will be disciplined without just cause.

Allenstown
No
teacher shall be given an oral or written reprimand without just cause. All
information forming the basis for disciplinary action will be made available to
the teacher.
Barnstead
The
Board reserves to itself jurisdiction and authority over all matters of policy
and retains the right: a) to direct and manage activities of the school
district; b) to direct the work of its employees; c) to hire, transfer, assign,
non-renew, promote, retain employees in positions within the school district
and, for just cause, to discipline, suspend, demote, discharge, withhold salary
increases and/or increment wage increases.
No
certified employee will be discharged or reprimanded except for just cause, as
long as this provision does not violate state tenure law.
Dunbarton
Excluding
only the nonrenewal of a probationary teacher, employees shall not be warned,
reprimanded, disciplined, adversely evaluated, non-renewed, dismissed, reduced
in rank or compensation, or deprived of any professional advantage without just
cause. Excluding only the nonrenewal of a probationary teacher, all information
forming the basis of any adverse action shall be made available to the employee.
No
teacher will be disciplined, reprimanded or warned in writing except for just
cause, and any teacher who alleges to be aggrieved under this Section 12.5 shall
have full access to the Grievance Procedures of this Agreement.
Goffstown
Any
disciplinary action which may be taken against a professional employee will be
based only upon information which is promptly placed in that employee's file. No
professional employees shall be disciplined without just cause and shall be
informed of the grounds for said discipline. If challenged, just cause shall
constitute an arbitrable issue. The parties agree that non-renewals are not
disciplinary in nature. Challenges to non-renewals shall be based upon RSA 189
et seg.
Hopkinton
In the event that any teacher shall be discharged, non-renewed, suspended,
disciplined, reprimanded, adversely evaluated, reduced in rank or compensation
or deprived of any professional advantage, the individual shall be informed in
writing by the administration. All information forming the basis for
such action(s) will be made available to the teacher at the time such action is
taken. The reasons shall support the actions taken.
Just
Cause - No teacher shall be disciplined without just cause. The just cause
standard, as written, shall not apply to termination or the nonrenewal of a
probationary teacher as described in RSA 189:13 and 14.
Kearsarge
A
tenured teacher shall not be warned, disciplined, discharged, or non-renewed
without just cause.
No
teacher will be disciplined or reprimanded without just cause.
Under
the terms of this Agreement, an employee shall not be disciplined except for
just cause. Just cause for purposes of this Agreement shall mean that the
evidence the disciplinary action Discipline shall include a written reprimand
and/or suspension and/or dismissal. An evaluation shall not be considered or
construed as a written reprimand and any such evaluation shall not be grievable
under the provisions of this Master Agreement. Non-renewal of teachers,
excluding nurses, under the appropriate RSA's shall not be subject to the
Grievance and Arbitration provisions of this Agreement. Non-renewal of
probationary nurses (see Article 6.8.B) shall not be subject to the Grievance
and Arbitration provisions of this Agreement. Non-renewal of non-probationary
nurses shall be subject to the Grievance and Arbitration provisions of this
Agreement.
Pembroke
No
teacher shall be given an oral or written reprimand or be suspended without just
cause. All information forming the basis for disciplinary action shall be made
available to the teacher upon his/her request.
Weare
Teachers
shall not be disciplined without just cause, except that the just cause standard
shall not apply to the nonrenewal of a probationary Employee.
Winnisquam
No
teacher will be disciplined (warned, reprimanded, suspended, or discharged) or,
in the case of a continuing teacher, non-renewed except for just cause.
