l Who Should the IEP Team Include?

The Individualized Education Program Team is a group of individuals that is responsible for developing, reviewing, or revising an Individual Education Plan for a child with a disability.  

An IEP Team should include:

* The parents of the child
* At least one regular education teacher of the child (if applicable)
* At least one special education teacher/provider of the child
* A representative of the public agency who –
    • Is qualified to provide, or supervise the provision of, specially designed instruction to meet the unique needs of children with disabilities 
    • Is knowledgeable about the general curriculum
    • Is knowledgeable about the availability of resources of the
      public agency
* An individual who can interpret the instruction implications of
    evaluation results
