Grading
Students will be evaluated in both the health room and the active piece. The two are averaged together and result in one grade for BEST. The following is the breakdown of both pieces.

Students must change into a complete set of activity appropriate clothing. Examples of appropriate clothing are full tee-shirts, shorts, warm-up pants and sneakers. Tank tops, tight fitting shorts/skirts and sandals are not appropriate and will not be tolerated.
Health
Students will be evaluated by their homework, quizzes, tests, and projects. Please consult the individual teacher for a more thorough course outline.
Additional Policies
Students will be issued a lock free of charge for yearlong personal use in the locker rooms. This lock must be returned at the end of the year or the student will need to pay $7.00 for it's replacement. The locker room will not be locked during class, students are responsible to lock up all belongings.
Students are required to make up all work missed during both health and physical education classes. Student's must obtain a permission form from their teacher to make up active classes. All classes not made up will earn a grade of zero.
