Bureau of Labor Statistics: Courtesy of the Department of Labor, this site includes information about the economy, including projections and regional information.

Career Mosaic: An aid to long range planning, this site provides high school students with a look at real jobs in the real world. Note "The College Connection" link designed to help college students looking for their first jobs.

Career Search: Provides access to many searchable sites for a wide array of employment opportunities including military, technology, legal, medical and just about everything in between. Searches can be limited by location, skills and more.

Chronicle of Higher Education: Provided by The Chronicle of Higher Education, the weekly news journal for college and university administrators (including admissions directors), this site provides an inside view of major issues relating to colleges and universities as well as summaries of latest articles and research.

College Board Online: College Board Online helps students and parents make the transition from school to college. Includes College Board Tests, programs, and online registration; a "Test Question of the Day," a searchable database of colleges; financial aid information (including a financial aid calculator).

CollegeNET: CollegeNET lets students’ search for institutions by geography, tuition, enrollment, and college major. Provides separate databases for four year colleges and community, technical, and junior colleges; lists of colleges by category; links to sources of financial aid.

Financial Aid Information from the US Dept. of Education: These sites provide information about federal student financial aid programs and how to apply for them.

The Financial Aid Information Page: This page (sponsored by the National Assoc. of Student Financial Aid Admin.) provides links to many sources of information about student financial aid. It also includes a "Scholarship Scam Alert," with information about scams and how to avoid them.

Financial Aid Calculator: Includes convenient worksheets to help families identify alternative ways to finance college costs.

Peterson’s Education Center: Peterson’s Education Center includes information about educational programs at all levels and provides searchable databases of colleges and academic programs. All college/university sites provide extensive descriptive material, online view books and applications.

College View: A free online college search service with profiles of 3,500+ colleges and universities, virtual tours, electronic applications, financial aid info, career planning tools, and more.

The Princeton Review College Search: This site has lots of valuable info about colleges and SAT’s. Practice SAT tests and more. A must see!

SAT Test Prep: This service scores the test and provides a detailed breakdown of the results, pinpointing weak spots. Pick and choose from 47 skill lessons-offered in some 2,000 screens of review material covering everything from arithmetic to vocabulary. Each lesson is followed by a 15-question quiz.

Kaplan’s Web Site: An Internet SAT course. You can take a simulated exam and have it scored and analyzed for free.

Career Web: Offers career search information and resources including job listings, resume-guidance and links to other career information sites.

NH Higher Education Assistance Foundation: Features information about the Federal Family Education Loan Program, free services through the Resource Center and information about alternative financing.

NH College and University Council: Links to the web sites of thirteen senior accredited public and private higher education institutions in New Hampshire.
