Buster is a pneumatically actuated test bench. When a tensile or compression force is applied to a sample of structure, the new interface unit within the Buster measures force and displacement and transfers the data to your computer. The resultant values are graphed and the data sets collected for analysis. This is a turnkey package - all the hardware, software and manuals necessary to complete the activities are included.

Structures of varying length, width and height can be accommodated with Buster, and the accurate testing is performed with a force of up to 1000 psi. For even larger structures a column extension kit is available.

A comprehensive Materials Package is available to complete tests in hardness, tension, compression, shear strengths and determination of performance factors for structures and members. Experimental values are accurate and repeatable and your experimental results can be correlated to industry standards.
