Typical Prerequisite(s):
Explorations in Technology I & II
Students will learn and
apply the basic theories and operational concepts relating to common power and energy
systems. Topics include the design and use of these power systems in all aspects of the
modern world around us. Alternative energy sources including; wind, water, solar,
geothermal, and others will be studied in depth. Students will plan, problem solve and
construct solutions to real and simulated energy problems faced in our society presently
and in the future.
