REACH
The Music Department and REACH program co-hosted the Spring Recital Luncheon on Wednesday, June 9 for advanced music students in grades five and six. It was a wonderful opportunity for the students to share their talents with teachers, families, and fellow musicians.
The BMS Expressions, our literary magazine, will be available to all students and faculty this month. Thank you to all the student contributors; without them, there would be no magazine.
The BMS Mentoring Program had another
successful year. We are concluding the year with a Spanish group and NH history group. Ana Teresa Mullen is sharing her native language of Spanish with a group of 5th graders, and a group of 6th graders is discussing New Hampshire history with Mr. Spofford. The duck house group had the opportunity to walk to the town pond to view the duck houses that they assembled. The 6th, 7th, and 8th grade art groups enjoyed their visit to the Currier Gallery of Art in Manchester. The 5th grade world history group had the pleasure to hear the guest speaker, Major Roy Hunter, share his military experiences in Iraq and Afghanistan. Huge thanks to all our mentors for their time, hard work, and dedication this year.
