What we are doing:

The Junior class BEST students will be involved in the following units this year:

Nutrition:  Students will understand the basics of proper nutrition, and will evaluate their own eating patterns.  Various "diets" will be discussed, and concepts of weight control will be explored.

Career and College Planing:  Students will work with the guidance department staff to begin to prepare for life after Bow High.

Prevention and Care of Illness and Injury:  Students will gain an understanding of chronic illnesses and diseases that can affect us, and methods of prevention.  In addition, students will have the opportunity to recertify in CPR through the American Red Cross, and will be exposed to automated external defibrilator (AED) use.
