ADOPT-A-BRIDGE PROJECT |
The Bow Schools Foundation improves the quality of life for Bow children, their families, and the general community through partnership efforts designed to promote the development of initiatives and programs that are inclusive, innovative, responsive, and sustainable.
The mission of the Bow Schools Foundation is to provide enrichment and enhancement of academic, artistic, and athletic programs and opportunities for students and teachers by securing and distributing financial and other resources. The intent of the Foundation is to supplement, not substitute, traditional Bow School District funding.
Increasingly, public school systems throughout this country are creating independent foundations to generate supplemental funding for programs and initiatives within their schools. The Bow Schools Foundation, a tax-deductible organization established in April 2007, is designed to offer opportunities to individuals, businesses, and other foundations to support the public schools of Bow over and above the municipal town tax system.
