Destination Imagination
Destination Imagination is an after-school program that encourages teamwork and creative problem solving. Teams of up to seven students work together to solve open-ended challenges using their imaginations and creative problem solving skills. Meeting days and times are determined by the team and team manager (usually once a week for two hours). Students in grades 1 through 8 are welcome to participate. Teams will present their solutions to their challenges at a regional competition on Saturday, March 17, 2007. The top teams at Regionals are invited to the State competition on March 31, 2007.
If you are interested in learning more about Destination Imagination, please attend an informational meeting on Wednesday, October 11, 2006 at 6:00 at the Bow Elementary School cafeteria. For more information contact Christy Romano (BMS) or Sue Kurtz (BES), REACH Program Coordinators.
