Welcome

The Physical Education and Health Department provides students with physical education and health information in a blended setting. The two classes are placed at opposite ends of the 22-day specials rotation so that students get activity opportunities at two different times of the year. The physical education classes participate in a wide range of activities throughout the year, including archery, racquet sports, volleyball, and the President's Challenge Program. Health classes on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and on extra lab days join the physical education class for either a cooperative game or trail walking. Health students in the classroom are instructed in puberty (grade 5), first aid (grade 6), immunity and disease (grade 7), and drugs (grade 8).
