TASK

    With a partner you will read a novel by Beverly Cleary using Literature Circle guide sheets to help you understand and enjoy the story.  Your final product will be an illustrated book jacket with a summary of the novel on the back cover and information about the author on the inside flaps.  All of your Literature Circle guide sheets will be stored inside your book jacket for final evaluation.  You will be expected to rate the book using 1 to 5 stars including an explanation of what you enjoyed about the novel and what made it a good read!  Your Literature Circle guide sheets and your written reflection will explain what you have learned through this reading adventure.
