Interior Design
while you were out
Our family was looking to have their dining room and the office/family room. The challenge by the client was the open concept of the floor plan that made it difficult to choose a color and their true desire was to figure out how both rooms could have their own identity and colors. The family lifestyle is very relaxed. They love to hang out and spend time playing video games and surfing the web. They are an outdoorsy family that enjoys walks, biking and canoeing. They were looking for simplicity and clean lines. The greatest concern was that the boys who are not open to change would feel comfortable in their new environment. The budget was limited so the designers would need to be creative and resourceful with the items that they were going to purchase. Good luck teams!

------AFTER-------
Dear Interior Design Class of 2006,
WOW! Thank you so much for all your ideas and hard work. Our family loves what you did with both rooms! The colors make the room cozy and we are spending more time in them. Moving the fish tank was a great idea and the cats are enjoying their new division. The window treatments are up and put a finishing touch in the rooms. Slipcovers are okay giving the finishing touch but they aren't as "Sure fit" as they appear in the magazine. We use the rooms more than we ever have before and I am so proud to show them off to all of my friends and family.
Thank you for a job well done!
