I headed to Kamakura to see this great Buddha on my own. It took an hour and a half by train and foot from Tokyo. It was a sight to behold. |
Many of the JFMFers wanted to see this great statue. We returned from our travels back to Tokyo and we all had some free time to explore. |
This is the Great Buddha or Daibutsu. It is revered by the believers in Buddhism.
