Academic Support at Bow High School is available to any student grades 9-12 with academic or other educational needs.

The goal of the Academic Support program is to provide students with the opportunity for additional instruction in their area of identified need as documented on their IEP or 504.

Direct instruction is provided to support general education content areas.  Students work on increasing their ability to organize work and manage time.

Students are expected to come to Academic Support with appropriate materials for study including assignments and texts.

bulletProgress reports are sent out to teachers bi-weekly and are kept in a three ring binder in Academic Support.  The binder is alphabetized according to the student's last name.

About the teacher:

Nancy taught Special Education and English at Pembroke Academy for the 18 years. She was very involved in advising the Key Club and the Ski Club. She also was a class advisor for many years.  Nancy is a Teaching and Learning Specialist at BHS specifically working with juniors and seniors.
