BMS Volunteer Drive

Last year the Bow PTO developed an e-mail data base of potential volunteers for the Middle School. It was a quick and easy way for us to pass along volunteer opportunities as we received them from teachers. Those opportunities came in the school store, the library, the music department, at PTO events, etc. Volunteers may also be needed from time to time in the nurse’s office, the cafeteria, for grade-level events, etc.

If you would like to have your name entered into that VOLUNTEER POOL, please fill out the information below and send it into school in your child’s backpack or drop it off in the BMS office anytime. The PTO will collect this information from BMS and formulate a database with contact information. When specific volunteer requests from the middle school are forwarded to the PTO, or when the PTO has needs for help at any of its in-school functions or fundraisers, the volunteer coordinator will be able to easily ask for help from the people on her list.

Please note that this database will only be used for the purpose described above.

Also note that inclusion in this volunteer pool does not commit you to volunteer assignments. It only says to us that you would be willing to be e-mailed as needs arise. You can feel free to respond only when your availability and/or interest corresponds to the school’s or PTO’s needs. We will continue to notify you of BMS volunteer opportunities throughout the entire school year.
