This month we are focusing on activities relating to Spring and Earth Day. We discussed ways to help our Earth.  The children had some great ideas about how they can take care of their environment.  We encourage you to discuss this important topic at home as well. 

We look forward to digging into our plant unit after vacation.  Each class will observe the growth cycle from seed to plant.  We encourage your children to take notice of plants in their world coming to life! 

        Our celebration of the alphabet is now complete!  As we review all the letters throughout the remainder of our year, we will also touch upon vowels, diagraphs and blends.  This is sure to help our journal writing!  We encourage you to review all the letters, sounds, and passwords at home with your munchkin!

                The big hit this month in math was learning a game called “addition war!”  This had us practicing how to add two numbers together, starting with the larger one.  Be sure to ask your little one for all the details!  We look forward to seeing all the moms at our Mother’s Day Tea!
